FORT LEE, Va. (Dec. 20, 2021) – Maj. Gen. Mark T. Simerly (left), CASCOM and Fort Lee commanding general, thanks local American Red Cross volunteer Jennifer Pendergrass (right) for her support to Fort Lee Soldiers departing for leave at POV Site – HBL during Fort Lee’s annual Holiday Block Leave period. CASCOM is one of U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command’s major subordinate commands that provides training and education for Sustainment professionals, both military and Department of Army civilians at all leadership levels, develops and implements capabilities, concepts, and doctrine, and executes functional proponency to enable the Army’s Sustainment Warfighting Function.
