U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Jeremiah Paul, a crew chief with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Rein.), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) transfers fuel at a Forward Arming and Refueling Point (FARP) on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 30, 2021. The FARP extends the tip of the spear, allowing us to pierce further into enemy territory in order to complete missions and support forward deployed units normally out of reach. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps' only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premiere crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
