A U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II assigned to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, flies over the Makua Military Reservation as part of a Close Air Support training event on Oahu, Hawaii, Dec. 10, 2021. The training provided an opportunity for a Tactical Air Control Party Airman to call in the Thunderbolt for a simulated Rescue Escort mission to provide CAS for two MV-22 Ospreys from Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Joint training like this allows U.S. service members to improve on communication, tactics, and develop high-levels of interoperability to be used anywhere in the world. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Jimmie D. Pike)
