U.S. Air Force pararescuemen assigned to the 82nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron (ERQS), conduct jump training from a C-130 Hercules over East Africa, Nov. 4, 2021. Pararescuemen maintain jump proficiency to enable rapid personnel recovery, provide secure, reliable, flexible combat search and rescue capabilities, and to rapidly deploy to austere locations to support U.S. and partner forces within the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa’s area of responsibility.
