211109-N-IW069-1023 PHILIPPINE SEA (Dec. 8, 2021) An MH-60R Sea Hawk, assigned to the “Blue Hawks” of Helicopter Sea Maritime Squadron (HSM) 78, is choked and chained to the flight deck of Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Champlain (CG 57), Dec. 9, 2021. Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners while serving as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
