U.S. Marines with Marine Corps Security Force Regiment, conduct a rifle accuracy assessment drill during exercise Tartan Eagle Phase II, Northumbria Police Range, Wallsend, England, Dec.12, 2021. U.S. Marines operated alongside British Royal Marines close-quarters battle (CQB) instructors to refine rifle accuracy and proficiency. Exercise Tartan Eagle is a bilateral, biyearly training exercise in which the U.S. Marines and their British counterparts travel to each other's training facilities to compare CQB strategy and tactics.
