U.S. Marines and Sailors with 3d Marine Logistics Group participate in combat lifesaving training to increase survivability while focusing on self and partner medical aid during Korean Marine Exercise Program on Camp Mujuk, Pohang, South Korea, Oct. 19, 2021. KMEP is a bilateral training exercise that increases interoperability and strengthens combined capabilities of the Republic of Korea Marines and U.S. Marines. 3d MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward-deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
