(Nov. 19, 2021) – Chief Engineman Glenn Strode is pinned by his wife Erica during a Chief Petty Officer pinning ceremony for amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) onboard Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, Calif., Nov. 19. Four Somerset Sailors were promoted to the rank of Chief Petty Officer in front of their fellow Chief Petty Officers, command, family and friends during the ceremony.
