North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command leadership traveled to the Catalyst Campus for Technology and Innovation in downtown Colorado Springs for briefings and discussions focusing on the commands' Digital Transformation Strategy and Digital Literacy program and culture change. General Glen VanHerck, Commander, NORAD & USNORTHCOM, led the group which included Lt. Gen. A.C. Roper, NORTHCOM Deputy; L-Gen. Alain Pelletier, NORAD Deputy; Sgt. Maj. James Porterfield, Command Senior Enlisted Advisor, directorate leads and deputies, and subject matter experts, through briefings and guided discussions and case studies. The event also set an executive-level common baseline understanding of data literacy and discussions worked to identify potential implementation across the commands with the goal of becoming a data-centric organization able to achieve decision superiority, the core of the digital transformation strategy and digital literacy program.
