DEARBORN, Mich. -- U.S. Army 1st Lt. Ewekson Tima, an intensive care nurse assigned to the 32nd Hospital Center, primes an IV tube to remove the air before administering the proper medication to a patient in Dearborn, Michigan, Dec. 1, 2021. This procedure is to ensure no air enters the patient’s bloodstream. The medical response team deployed in support of the continued Department of Defense COVID response operations to help communities in need.
