Two firefighters from the 18th Civil Engineer Squadron put out a fire during a joint training exercise with Commander, Navy Region Japan Fire & Emergency Services at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Nov. 30, 2021. With Japan Air Self-Defense Force firefighters observing, Kadena Fire Emergency Services joined capabilities with CNRJ firefighters to extinguish a vehicle fire, small aircraft fire, large aircraft fire and flashovers during this event.
