U.S. Marines with 3d Landing Support Battalion, 3d Marine Logistics Group, prepare a T-10 parachute bundle for an airdrop in order to resupply 2d Battalion, 8th Marines, conducting force-on-force training during Fuji Viper 22.1 at Combined Arms Training Center, Camp Fuji, Japan, Nov. 5, 2021. This unscripted exercise demonstrated joint integration and strengthened the Marines’ ability to operate in distributed environments, while adapting to a thinking peer-level adversary. 2/8 is forward-deployed in the Indo-Pacific under 4th Marines, 3d Marine Division, as a part of the Unit Deployment Program.
