JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Nov. 22, 2021) - Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class John Gregorio performs hand hygiene before assisting a patient in the Family Medicine Clinic. Gregorio, a native of Cagayan Valley, Philippines, says, “Clean hands help stop germs from spreading person to person.” Clinical staff use handwashing (with soap and water), antiseptic hand wash, antiseptic hand rub (alcohol-based hand sanitizer), or surgical hand antisepsis, based on clinical circumstances and guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
