MAYPORT, Fla. (Nov. 11, 2021) - Lt. Cmdr. Chris Barth, a periodontist at Naval Branch Health Clinic Mayport’s Dental Clinic, performs a procedure with a sailor. Barth, a native of Clinton, New Jersey, holds a doctor of dental medicine degree from Harvard University. He says, “As a periodontist, I enjoy educating patients to help prevent periodontal disease. Periodontal disease affects nearly 50 percent of the U.S. population.
