SAN DIEGO (Nov. 30, 2021) – U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Addison Brown, an infantryman assigned to 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines, secures a Joint Light Tactical Vehicle aboard amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) in preparations for Steel Knight 22 SK 22), Nov. 30. SK 22 is a 1st Marine Division led annual training exercise which enables the Navy-Marine Corps team to operate in a realistic, combined-arms environment to enhance naval warfighting tactics, techniques, and procedures.
