The Chaplain Corps was established Nov. 28, 1775 in article two of the Rules for the Regulation of the Navy of the United Colonies of North America. NMRTC San Diego’s mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research.
