    U.S. Coast Guard District 7 PADET San Juan

    A Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen MH-60T Jayhawk helicopter aircrew and the crew of a Boat Forces St. Thomas 33-foot Special Purpose Craft – Law Enforcement medevaced a passenger from the sailing vessel Orion Nov. 29, approximately 18 miles south of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Medevaced was a 66-year-old man, U.S. citizen, who sustained a head injury aboard the Orion while transiting from Christiansted, St. Croix to Compass Point in St. Thomas. The man and his wife were transported to a local hospital in Puerto Rico. (U.S. Coast Guard photo).
