Staff Sgt. Sgt. Nicole Collins, a chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear specialist assigned to the Fort Bragg, N.C., based 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command helps pull a camouflage net over the top of an M1087 Expandable Van Shelter during a tactical action center displacement training exercise at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, on Nov. 27, 2021. Expeditionary sustainment commands often displace their TACs forward in wartime to facilitate sustainment support on the front lines. Collins and fellow “Spears Ready” Soldiers have been deployed since August staffing the 1st Theater Sustainment Command’s operational command post.
