A U.S. Sailor assigned to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni’s harbor division guides a crane away from a CV-22 Osprey at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, Nov. 20, 2021. The aircraft was aboard the USS America (LHA 6) while the ship was docked at MCAS Iwakuni’s deep-water harbor. Due to its geographic location and co-located airfield and harbor, the air station is uniquely postured to provide advanced naval integration in support of regional security. (U. S.
