Making an active effort over the years during the Great American Smokeout, held annually on the third Thursday of November has been an energetic exercise to support those in need to commit to quit - just for the day - using any type of tobacco product. From advocating pedal power instead of dip or chew, elliptical workouts in lieu of vaping, and this year's Turkey Trot 5K in place of smoking, NHB/NMRTC Bremerton can provide a number of resources to help anyone stop their nicotine habit. For more insight on tobacco cessation, call 360-475-4818. (Official Navy photo montage)
