Nicholas Van Haverbeck, a system munitions specialist, manages the conventional stockpile of bombs, rockets, and aircraft munitions for the 127th Wing Maintenance Squadron at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Nov. 18, 2021. Van Haverbeck, an Active Guard Reserve from Marine City who served for two deployments in Kuwait and Afghanistan, has completed his 12th year of service with ambitions to do a minimum of twenty years.
