YOKOSUKA, Japan (Nov 18, 2021) — Dr. Janice Bennett, a member of the Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) community, poses with her husband Paul during a presentation held at Yokosuka City Hall. Dr. Bennett’s browned sugar sweet potato hand pie was the winner of CFAY’s Dessert Bake-Off challenge held on April 12. Dr. Bennett’s pie recipe was presented to the City of Yokosuka during a ceremony, Nov. 18. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
