For this week’s #MTB, we would like to feature Master Sgt. Laura Langley, NCO in charge of command and control operations!
Langley’s position entails ensuring the most effective and efficient processes are in place for the controllers who work in the command post. A few processes she oversees are the execution of installation recalls for emergencies, and posturing #TeamBuckley for FPCON changes. Her favorite part about the job is working with Airmen, mentoring them, and watching them succeed and grow.
She is originally from the south side of Chicago and enjoys anything in the outdoors, but she mainly finds herself into hiking, kayaking, yoga, as well as reading and writing.
Five years from now, she sees herself retired from the Air Force and in law school. She wants to study the intersection of law and social work and help improve social policy and civil rights.
