KINGS BAY, Ga. (Nov. 15, 2021)- Vice Adm. William Houston (center), commander, Submarine Forces, presents the Gold Crew Chiefs Mess of the Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS Rhode Island (SSBN 740), with the Master Chief Hugh McCracken Award. Chief of the Boat Master Chief Information Systems Technician (Submarines) Sterling Sims (left) and Master Chief Rob Koss, strategic weapons systems master chief, accepted the award on behalf of the Mess.
