U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Jacob Loya cuts the ceremonial cake for 1st Space Brigade's Marine Corps birthday party.
The Marines are part of the brigade's Marine Space Support Team, working with the Soldiers of 1st Space on situational awareness of space capabilities, space assets, space products, and the impact of space on operations.
Marines have been training with the brigade since August in order to eventually form their own Marine Space Support Teams.
