Farciertmejia (right), a machine gunner with Marine Corps Security Force Battalion Kings Bay, both with Marine Corps Security Force Regiment, engage in weapons sparring during the Martial Arts Instructor (MAI) Course 101-22 culminating event at Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, Virginia, Nov. 5, 2021. The MAI course challenges students through mental and physical stressors while conducting Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) techniques to earn the martial arts instructor billet.
