211107-M-HB658-1015 OVDA AIR FORCE BASE, Israel (Nov. 7, 2021) Air Force C-130J Super Hercules attached to the 61st Expeditionary Airlift Squadron taxis the runway at Ovda Air Force Base, Israel, before transporting 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit personnel and equipment in support of a fires interoperability exercise, Nov. 7. This is the United States’ and Israel’s first bilateral training since Israel joined the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility and is a robust demonstration of both nations’ commitment to stability in the region.
