David Wolfe, rear-center, PACAF command chief, discuss base flightline operations and expansion efforts with base leadership at the Air Traffic Control Tower during an annual site tour of U.S. Air Force and allied commands at Yokota Air Base, Nov. 2, 2021. The ATC is responsible for managing the safe and efficient flow of aircraft throughout the base and surrounding area, both on the ground and in the air. The annual tour at Yokota AB provides a way to showcase mission essential areas of the base and for commanders to learn first-hand how Yokota delivers on the PACAF vision of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
