    SOUTH CHINA SEA (Oct. 29, 2021) -- Asahi-class destroyer JS Shiranui (DD-120) of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force and Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Higgins (DDG 76) approach Henry J. Kaiser-class replenishment oiler USNS Big Horn (T-AO 198) for a replenishment-at-sea in the South China Sea, Oct 29. Military Sealift Command Far East ensures approximately 50 ships, including Big Horn, operating in the Indo-Pacific Region, are manned, trained and equipped to deliver essential supplies, fuel, cargo and equipment to warfighters, both at sea and on shore.
