211021-M-VL720-1267 JAZIRAT AL GHURAB ISLAND, Saudi Arabia (Oct. 21, 2021) Royal Saudi Naval Forces – Western Fleet (RSNF-WF) leadership and members from Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, watch members of the RNSF-WF and U.S. Marines assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit conduct a simulated amphibious assault as part of exercise Indigo Defender 21 at Jazirat al Ghurab Island, Saudi Arabia, Oct. 21. Indigo Defender 21 is a capstone bilateral maritime exercise between Royal Saudi Naval Forces and U.S. Naval Forces Central Command to enhance interoperability and strengthen our capacity to maintain regional maritime security and stability.
