The Royal Australian Air Force Defense Attaché conducts a United Nations Command-Rear (UNC-R) meet and greet at MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, on Oct. 28, 2021. In 1957, UNC-Rear Headquarters began to manage UN-designated bases and UNC operations in Japan.
