U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 48th Civil Engineer Squadron mix concrete into a simulated runway crater as part of a Rapid Airfield Damage Repair exercise at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, Oct. 15, 2021. During the final day of the exercise, nine simulated craters were repaired by two RADR teams, which was the first time in United States Air Forces in Europe that there was a large enough unit to support two teams.
