Students from Airman Leadership School class 21-G flag detail raise the American and Japanese flags Oct. 27, 2021 at Misawa Air Base, Japan. Each student fulfills alternate duties during their time in ALS to teach them how to handle multiple responsibilities. ALS is a leadership course that instructs new and upcoming staff sergeants on forms and memorandums, leading airmen, and supervisory responsibilities.
