YOKOSUKA, Japan (Oct. 13, 2021) – Culinary Specialist Seaman Keyon Beamon, assigned to U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), from Fort Worth, Texas, utilizes the rowing machine for the cardio portion of a physical readiness test (PRT) held at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka Purdy Fitness Center Oct. 13, 2021. The PRT uses pushups, planks, and cardio to measure a Sailor’s muscular endurance and aerobic capacity. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
