Defense Department Support to FEMA COVID-19

U.S. Navy Lt. Michelle Coy, left, assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and Lt. Cmdr. Justin Johnson, center, assigned to NMRTC, Jacksonville, Florida, receive guidance from Anahi Drollman, right, a civilian clinical development specialist, for point-of-care testing at Campbell conference room in Wenatchee, Washington, Oct. 21, 2021. POC testing can be performed near a patient in which a laboratory is not needed. Military personnel assigned to NMRTC deployed from Florida and Virginia, in support of the continued DoD COVID response operations to help communities in need. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the whole-of-government COVID response.
