U.S. Marines assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron are served food by volunteers during the Pig Pickin’ event at Hancock Creek Lodge, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Oct. 19, 2021. The Pig Pickin’ is a biannual event that’s hosted by the City of Havelock’s Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee. The event shows community support of service members on the air station, while offering them and their families an opportunity to eat, relax, and have good ole’ fashioned fun.
