NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY BAHRAIN (Oct. 18, 2021) – Brig. Gen. Farrell Sullivan, commanding general of Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade (TF 51/5), presents the noncommissioned officer sword to Sgt. Maj. Rafael Vargas during the TF 51/5 sergeant major relief and appointment ceremony aboard Naval Support Activity Bahrain, Oct. 18, 2021. During the ceremony, Sgt. Maj. Vargas replaced Sgt. Maj. Misitupa Tueichi as the TF 51/5 sergeant major. After being relieved, Sgt. Maj. Tueichi retired from the Marine Corps after 30 years of faithful service.
