Eduardo Estrada, a water support technician with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 172, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, adjusts the Platoon Water Purification System to produce drinking water while conducting Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations on Ie Shima, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 6, 2021. MWSS-172 established a forward arming and refueling point on an airfield secured by 2d Battalion, 3d Marines to support sustained aviation operations. Estrada is a native of Marble Falls, Texas.
