GREAT LAKES, Il. (Oct. 14, 2021) Quartermaster 2nd Class Brandon Martin and Electronics Technician 3rd Class Emilio Godinez, assigned to Naval Station Great Lakes, lower the ensign during a memorial service for fire Lt. Jeff Peters, a Kenosha, Wisconsin resident. Peters served with Great Lakes Fire and Emergency Services for twenty-one years. During his time he responded to countless structural, medical, and rescue calls as well as calls for mutual aid from our partners in Navy Region Mid-Atlantic and the local community.
