YOKOSUKA, Japan (Oct. 15, 2021) The Shibasaki Action Project performs alongside the Taiko-Medetai group during the Navy Ball held at Club Alliance onboard Commander, Fleet Activites Yokosuka (CFAY) in celebration of the Navy's 246th Birthday. The theme of the 246th Navy Birthday and Heritage week is "Resilient and Ready", which speaks to the Navy's history of being able to shake off disaster, such as the loss of a ship or a global pandemic, and still maintain force lethality and preparedness. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
