Brig. Gen. Gregory Gagnon, U.S. Space Command Intelligence director, provided Dr. Ajay Kumar, Defense Secretary, India Ministry of Defence, a briefing on current threats to the space domain. U.S. Army Gen. James Dickinson, USSPACECOM commander, hosted Kumar on Oct. 9 to discuss advancing U.S.-India space cooperation in critical areas such as space situational awareness and responsible behavior in space. The efforts that U.S. and India make to advance and operationalize bilateral defense cooperation will ensure the partnership achieves its full potential in the coming decades.
