YOKOSUKA, Japan (Oct. 9, 2021) — A crowd gathers around 'Sparky' The Dog, the official mascot of the National Fire Protection Association during the Ikego Fire Prevention Parade & Open House, hosted by Commander, Navy Region Japan Fire and Emergency Services (CNRJ F&ES) Ikego, to educate service members and their families about fire safety. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
