210929-N-CD272-1005 IWAKUNI, Japan (Sept. 29, 2021) Equipment Operator 3rd Class Laura White, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, operates a dozer to clear a road at the landfill capping project on board Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni. The U.S. Navy Seabees assigned to NMCB-5 are deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific, strengthening their alliances and partnerships, and providing general engineering and civil support to joint operational forces.
