USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) Flight Operations

210927-N-WS494-1053 SAN BERNARDINO STRAIT (Sept. 27, 2021) - An MH-60S Sea Hawk, attached to the Golden Falcons of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12, prepares to land on the flight deck of the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, conducted an archipelagic sea lane passage through the San Bernardino Strait, crossing from the South China Sea into the Philippine Sea. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
