QM2(SW/EXW) Michael Mengel is presented with the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal by Captain Matt Frauenzimmer, Commanding Officer of Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads. The award was presented after his re-enlistment ceremony aboard the decommissioned Iowa-Class Battleship USS Wisconsin (BB 64) with members of his command present.
