210920-M-VW477-1207 NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVTY BAHRAIN (Sept. 20, 2021) Marines assigned to the All Domain Reconnaissance Detachment, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), enter a training vessel during visit, board, search and seizure training, Sept. 20. The 11th MEU is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
