LOPBURI, Thailand — U.S. Army Green Berets with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) fire a mortar round while training at Camp Erawan during Balance Torch 21, on Oct. 4, 2021. Balance Torch 21 is an important exercise that provides an opportunity for U.S. Special Operation Forces to maintain readiness and interoperability with the Royal Thai Army. The Soldiers of 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) continuously work to increase their capabilities and capacity to reinforce the SOF commitment to an open and free Indo-Pacific.
