U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Anthony Niederschmidt, Airman 1st Class James Ballard, and Master Sgt. Jones Kwan, 727th Expeditionary Air Control Squadron, Detachment 3, radar technicians and superintendent, respectively, drag a protective covering into place over a shelter for a newly-replaced AN/TPS-75 radar system as part of regular maintenance July 27, 2021, at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The radar provides a common surveillance and combat identification picture to support battle management command and control for the combined defense of the Arabian Peninsula.
