U.S. Marines with II Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group conduct naval gunfire support as part of the all domain effects team (ADET) during Joint Warrior 21.2 in Durness, Scotland, Sept. 27, 2021. The ADET is an experimental system which integrates units organic to the MIG into a small team, capable of deploying and supporting itself at a moment’s notice.
The exercise, hosted by the United Kingdom, demonstrates the operational capability and interoperability of U.S. and partner nations at a task force level and supports training objectives for all participating forces.
