U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Ariana Romero, a Queen Creek, Arizona native, right, and Lance Cpl. Katarina Palacios, a Hondo, Texas native, both assigned to 8th Communications Battalion, II Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, set up a satellite terminal during Joint Warrior 21.2 in Durness, Scotland, Sept. 23, 2021. The exercise, hosted by the United Kingdom, demonstrates the operational capability and interoperability of U.S. and partner nations at a task force level and supports training objectives for all participating forces. These joint operations, often in concert with allied and interagency partners, advance U.S. national security and stability throughout Europe. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by SSgt. Marcela Diazdeleon)
